The lessons and activities are designed to be educational, flexible, and help your students to begin to build knowledge and understanding about civic literacy concepts relevant to the grade level. Extend civic learning using the choice boards and teaching resources.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools K-2 educators created a unit for each grade level. Each unit contains 3 mini-lessons and additional resources for the grade level. All content is aligned to NC social studies standards, and was reviewed by a team of K-5 educators from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Guilford County Schools, and GenerationNation.
